Dr. Katina Currin, DNP, APN, CRNA

Dr. Katina J. Currin, DNP, APN, CRNA began her nursing career in the intensive care setting, where her skills were heavily utilized with pediatric patients. She received her master’s degree in nursing anesthesia at UT Chattanooga and her doctorate in nursing at the University of Alabama. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with toddlers and school-aged children, and has always strived to put families at ease when facing challenges. In her stories, Dr. Currin aspires to offer a fun and colorful reading experience for all kids while also providing tips for keeping youngsters happy in unforeseen situations.

Outside of writing, Dr. Currin enjoys reading, gardening, traveling, and spending time with family. She continues to practice as a certified registered nurse anesthetist in the Metro Atlanta area. She and her husband, Joseph, live in Smyrna.
